“I typically wear a 34" waist. I was unsure of what size I should order based on the measurements on the chart so I contacted support to ask for assistance selecting a size.
I measured the waist of a pair of 34" American Tall jeans that fit me perfectly and they measured 18" across (doubled should be 36"). Pic below.
Based on this, I was advised to order the 36 Tall pair of shorts. When the 36 Tall arrived, they were too big.
I measured the 36 Tall and they were 19" across at the waist (or 38" total). Pic below.
I contacted support about this. They were super helpful and sent out a smaller size right away.
Now that I have a pair that fit me (the 34's), I love these shorts. They are super comfy and slightly stretchy. I would recommend these shorts, just be mindful of this sizing issue when selecting a size.”
