“I love this parka. It fits perfectly and the length is excellent ("normal" sized parkas just barely hit the belt, but this one goes down to the hips, as it should). The zipper is a little tricky to operate, overall the parka is stylish and warm and I couldn't be happier.”
“Quality overall seems very high. It looks nice, is very warm, seems durable, and actually fits in the shoulders and sleeves! My only complaints are that the neck is a bit tight when it’s zipped all the way up (I am a 16.25” neck so this may or may not affect you), and the zipper itself is poor quality (cheap plastic/a bit clunky) compared to the rest of the parka. My other AT jackets have all had nice zippers so hopefully they change that before next year’s version.”
“It's boxy, would benefit from some tapering. Neck diameter would benefit from an extra inch, it pushes up into my chin. Lastly, a two-way zipper would be great so it could open from the bottom.”
“So I really like the coat, and the only thing keeping it from getting the full 5 stars is the zipper and the sleeves. First, the zipper does not work very well. I tend to have to jiggle it a little and to make it work. The sleeves have holes for thumbs to go into. This is ineffective. The holes are too small for any human thumb and once the thumb is in the edge of the hole will dig into the thumb. This is not a problem for me as I would not use the thumb hole anyway.
Now on the the good. This coat is warm and it is attractive. It fits me perfectly and is exactly what I have been looking for and have been unable to find. It is a great parka and allows me to stay out in the cold elements comfortably for a long duration.”
