“I purchased this jacket for a trip with my wife to Iceland, hoping to have a solid, well-fitting jacket for a country where rain is regular. When it arrived to me, I put it on, and was a little surprised at how big it fit. I ordered an XXL Tall, which I order every top from American Tall and LJ&S in. The fit felt oversized, which I'm certainly not used to. The good news, is this does allow for easy wear of a hoodie or sweatshirt underneath. Where the sizing was most notable was in the sleeves -- these completely went over my finger tips, which feels very, very tall. I basically had to use the adjustable wrist velcro to make sure my hands were usable. The wait tightening system is 'front centered' where the tightening is happening in the front and not at the sides or back, this kind of felt weird to me. But lastly, the zippers...
While in my initial try on at home, I unzipped the side pockets, to put my hands in. There are additional pulls in the pocket for waist adjustment but it was not clear to me how to make them stay where you pull them -- it was just tabs and nothing else to hold them where the were tightened to (I could be missing something simple here). I I removed my hands from the pockets and zipped them back up, and the zipper (after ONE use) came apart. I later tried to fix it and did, and it came off again after 1-2 more zips. Later, the right pocket came undone, and the zipper eventually fell completely off. The zippers here do not have bottom stoppers, which may play a role.
The good news: I contacted support and there were VERY helpful. They issued me a store credit (the way I paid), and said I did not need to return the jacket.
I'm hopeful for a future iteration that has the quality, features, and body fit improved.
