“I didn't like anything about this coat (fit was very boxy and sleeves were way too wide, etc) but even if i loved it and the fit was perfect, there's a 0% chance I would keep it. As some other reviewers have commented, it absolutely reeks right out of the bag for some reason, and didn't get any better after airing out for several days.”

It’s light weight. Not breathable at all besides the armpit vents. So I’m glad for those. Velcro cuffs are nice. Their trench coat has fake cuff straps.
The hood is too small and I have to unzip the front zipper to pull it up. It needs to be oversized to fit a helmet and such, then it would be able to come forward enough to block the rain off my face. As is, the hood is the only real issue I have with it. Wish it had inside pockets, but that’s being picky. The horrible smell went away in two days, as did the wrinkles. Overall it’s been a good fit and very rain repellent. It’s baggy enough to be used as a shell in cold weather. That’s why I’m most happy about it. Only 4 stars because the shallow hood was pretty disappointing.”

“So I am mixed on this one! The fit, styling, and length are great on me.
Note what is missing from AT's description of this jacket: the word "breathable". The pit zips and main zipper are fine for keeping dry from the inside if you are using this for casual use. But if you expect to cycle, or run to the occasional transit connection, I found that it gets wet from sweat pretty quickly.
I can mirror the strong scent comment another reviewer had, but it did fade after a couple weeks.”
