“The idea for these types of jackets is great. Us taller people need them. However, the builds in these jackets needs some work. I’ve had versions of this from other brands. While the American Tall jackets certainly are longer, their build has a couple key flaws. Firstly, y’all need a semi tall size. I’m around 6’4”. With pretty long arms. This jackets arms are longer than that. The wing span of someone 6’7” vs 6’4” can be noticeably longer. The arms of the jacket also need a bit of tapering. Being a bit larger in the top 2/3rds of the sleeve and then tapering a bit for the last 1/3rd makes more sense than having the sleeve be as wide (round) as the very end of the sleeve. Also when you raise your arms forward or to the side, around the biceps the jacket gets super tight. Uncomfortable. Lastly the shoulders. They are very boxy and go out and then straight down into the sleeves. It’s not a gradual fit and the material doesn’t lay against your shoulders comfortably. American Tall, let me know if you wanted to see some videos of what I’m talking about. I’d love this jacket of some of these small adjustments can be made. But until then I’m probably going to see what a medium size feels like (large feels a bit big) and send back if the issues persist.”
