“Great fit and quality but as mentioned in other reviews, it is missing basic features - the hanging loop and inner pockets are such simple items to add but missing on this jacket. Also as mentioned in other reviews, the liner sheds profusely! I wore a white dress shirt today and I look like a spotted leopard. Hope this eventually gets better but in the meantime I will have to wear dark shirts with this jacket - shame. The liner also has two inner flaps that are held in place by a tethered thread that looks like it will easily break. I'm not sue what these flaps are - definitely not pockets. Please explain.”
“Really nice jackets missing basic features. Lack of hanging loop and breast pocket makes daily wear much harder. The jacket itself is great. Good weight, nice material, warm and has KYY zippers, and would relieve 5/5 stars but American Tall needs to know that not offering extremely basic and expected built-ins like the hanging loop and breast pocket is unacceptable. Sleeve length is great, jacket length is a little shorter, but fits the bomber style. The pockets are inside the thick outer layer so your hands stay very warm, but are sewn to the outer layer with a single piece of thread, which is also odd.

“The jacket is notably missing basics: no hanger loop, no inside pocket, and no storm flap or zipper insulation. The latter means cold and wind bite right through the closed zipper, making this piece useless against the elements. Arm holes are tight even when I exchanged for a size up. The price is ok, but I'd rather pay more for a quality bomber jacket.”

“Maybe I got a bad copy, but the lining in this jacket literally cut my arms when I got it. I was a bit surprised, but the seams of the lining were constructed in such a way that there was a sharp edge running the length of both arms. So, returned it.”

“6'7" - approx. 215 lbs. - size MT - body of jacket exceptionally snug when compared with other MT items purchased - sleeve length adequate - shoulder width too broad - armhole seams fall closer to upper bicep/tricep (i.e. causing shoulders to appear "droopier") - jacket hem fell just above hips but would rise above mid-section if arms were raised - color is true to form - sherpa lining is warm but fabric is prone to shed on to clothes worn underneath (ex: AT men's turtleneck) which required lint remover to redress - AT size and fit description notes model is 6'5" - MT size more suitable to someone 200-205 lbs., especially if purchaser plans to wear multiple layers underneath - unfortunately, size LT would likely extend shoulder width and armhole even further away from neck/midline (i.e. torso fit would improve but shoulder fit would deteriorate) - overall fit was very surprising given how exceptionally well the AT double-breasted wool peacoat fit”
