“Extra Tall XL seemed to suit my measurements but based on the product description and reviews I thought it best to size up. The Extra Tall 2XL wasn't available so I bought the Tall 2XL. As described in other reviews the material is lightweight, not the denim you get in jeans but I was fine with that. The fit is relaxed but still flattering and I had no issues buttoning the shirt. Because it's the Tall fit, the sleeves reach my wrist but the sleeve length of the Extra Tall would have been perfect.
I'm 6'2", 216lbs and my bust measurement is 42-43. I typically wear XL or size 14.”
“The fabric doesn’t feel like “denim”- it’s very lightweight and wrinkles easily. Almost a dress shirt quality. Will need to be ironed every time after wear or out of the wash. It’s a slimmer fit than other slim fit shirts, and I wish I had sized up. Shoulders and arms feel tight when flexing or stretching my arms. Overall, good length and quality.”

“Disappointed...
This is NOT a demin shirt. It is a lightweight demin-colored shirt. For the price, I expected a heavier weight material as it was advertised as "A lighter version of your favorite jean jacket". This is no where near a demin weight material.
Fit is slim, length long enough, is about all I can say that's a positive. If it did not cost so much to return, the shirt would already be packaged up for return shipping. American Tall do not deceive your target audience.”

“I read all the reviews for this shirt so I knew that I should size up. usually I like the body length ofthe shirts but the sleeves are usually too long. sizing up in this shirt was perfect though the sleeve length can be adjusted by buttoning the cuffs. I am almost 6 ft 1 185 lb and I carry my weight mostly around my middle with lanky arms and legs. I have a fairly slim build. this fit fine in the arms and shoulders and actually gave ample room for the bust which I needed. there's definitely more room in the bust and for movement in the back then with the banker stripe shirt that I bought. so all that said I've been wearing it in the garden and wearing it to go out with jeans and leggings. I was going to buy an extra one, but they're sold out already in my size. I was disappointed that the stitching was rather sloppy there were quite a few pieces of thread just stitched over and left hanging so I'm hoping that it will wash up fine and be a well-used shirt.”
