“The arm length is excellent. The skirt length is far too short: it lands above the knee (excellent) and yet does not cover private parts when seated (terrible design). The skirt's cross-over panels open widely when walking (terrible design) and the fabric is so thin that it cannot sustain additional hardware to keep the skirt closed from hem to natural waist.
The AI algorithm was wrong with size recommendation: it would have fit better in extra tall medium or small, not tall medium.
This dress is fine for heauxing on instagram and saying, "Look at the sleeves!" But other than that, a fail. I bought three of these for other friends to try, and they agree.
American Tall should get into the business of manufacturing consistently decent clothing across product categories with customer service and sizing assistance that does not rely on AI, a chat bot, and protracted email conversations.
