“I found this brand American Tall because LLBean ran out of the green sweatpants I had in my cart. I'm so happy it did because these are 1000% better. My LLBean pants are always too short and my Pact pants are too short and too boxy. These are nice and long 33" inseam and fitted thru the thighs without making my belly a mushroom top. I'm 46 yo, 5'9" tall, 190lbs. I LOVE these!”

First, I want to say how much I love your brand. At 6’1”, I’ve struggled my entire life to find clothes that fit well, and since discovering American Tall, my wardrobe has become exclusively yours. Your clothing isn’t just a staple for me—it’s exclusive to my three sons’ wardrobes as well, all of whom are over 6 feet tall.
I especially love your fleece sweatpants—they’re heavy-duty, warm, and the perfect length, which is rare to find. However, I’ve experienced a recurring issue that I can’t ignore anymore. After just a few washes, the sweatpants begin to develop small holes, particularly around the pockets and waistband. With a few more washes, the holes become significant.
At first, I assumed it was an issue with my washing machine, so I actually replaced it with a brand new one. But despite washing them on the delicates cycle in cold water and tumble-drying on low, every single pair I’ve purchased—close to 7 pairs over the years—has developed these holes.
As someone who trusts and relies on your products for myself and my family, I’m incredibly disappointed. I don’t want to give up on these sweatpants, but I also can’t continue investing in items that wear out so quickly.

“I loved these joggers initially! Very soft and a great fit! Unfortunately, the quality was lacking. Within 10 months of moderate wear, the fabric ripped at the seams in multiple places. Finally, the fabric in the seam on the back of the butt completely shredded and I had to throw away before even 1 year. The quality wasn't worth the price. I have pictures, but I can't seem to find a way to upload them. Perhaps a mobile issue?”
“I loves the fit of these joggers! Sadly, they are poor quality and the fabric started shredding at the seams in only 10 months of somewhat regular wear (evenings and weekends in rotation). I had to them away. I have pictures but this review doesn't allow for pictures. I am super bummed. My husband has had similar issues with the fabric quality of his pairs of joggers, holes forming in the crotch and tops of back pockets due to the fabric ripping at the seams. We are 6' and 6'7", so we were really excited but these pants, but they just do not hold up.”
“I am 5’10”, so admittedly not tall in your customer’s minds, but these are quite long for me. They are super comfortable and flattering but it would be nice if they were 2” shorter. Your sizing range for XS says 5’9”-6’’1”, these would fit the 6’1” woman. Thanks for trying.”
