I’m starting to find that thick thighs don’t always get along with American tall. This is the 3rd pair of pants I had this experience: The length is amazing, it gets to my waist, but its so tight on my thighs that it’s uncomfortable and looks like it will rip.
American Tall is quality. And I love it when it works. I have had 2 pairs of other pants that have worked out for me that I still wear. But just want to make a note to my thicker girls - that it’s trial and error. Took a risk and bought these final sale for the deal, but I’ll find a friend to gift them to.”

“I just received these today and I will be ordering more, I’m 5’11 and 148 lbs I got the L/T there loose the way I like them and the length is great even if they shrink a little in the dryer the length will still be fine. They’re so comfortable.”
“I was so excited to find cute, long lounge pants. The only drawback is that the waist needs to be stretchier to go over the hips more comfortably. Once the waistband is at the waist, it fits perfectly. I’m 5’9 1/2” and 180 lbs. and got the large.”
“Holy cow! These make me so happy! The first thing I noticed, right out of the bag, was the quality of even the drawstring, which is a 1.5 inch sewn item, which I thought was a nice touch. Then I put them on. They are gloriously long. I'm 5'10, and they go all the way down to the floor. No more cold ankles! And they are long enough to puddle a little at the foot and floor, like the shorter people's pants do. Then, I put my hands in the deep pockets--deep enough to swallow a samsung s21 fully--and loved the surprise of the satiny interior. I don't know what the fabric is in the pockets--probably sateen--but it made my hands happy.
And finally, I slept in them. I normally get frustrated by pj pants bunching up, but these lasted the whole night. Very comfortable!”
