“I found American Tall recently and wanted to cry. FINALLY. I'm not the tallest around (5' 9"), but have a 29" waist, 37" hip and a 35" inseam @ 125 lbs. 'Regular' clothes that fit me, will fit almost no one else... I followed the size chart, bought a size 6 Extra Tall. I have boney legs and not much rear end. These didn't work out because they had too much fabric in the upper leg and hip to be flattering. They were much longer than the 35" extra tall inseam indicated but if all else was good, I'd have been happy to shorten these - something I've never had to do w/pants, so that's a good 'problem' to have (actually no problem at all frankly). :) The waist was plenty snug. Again, could have lived w/that if there had been less ample fabric in the hips and thighs. I'm still giving these 5 stars because they seemed extremely well made w/high quality materials. I would have LOVED to have had these work, but just not for me. If you have even a bit of a rear end and upper thigh curves, these would likely fit wonderfully. Thank you AT!”
“These are amazing. The quality is great, length is great. I've been looking for a pair of pants I can use for mountain biking and they are a great pair for layering on. Stretchy, I can roll the bottoms if I want a more cropped length and they have held up well in the 3 or 4 washes I've sent them through so far. 6'2", size 12, I've got a bit of a booty and thighs and they are great with room to move. Run, don't walk.”
