“Absolutely thrilled about these pants!!! I may have some bias because American tall pants are literally the only ones that fit me but still. I do a lot of labour that requires me to have sturdy pants. I've tried every brand of men's and women's work wear and have just had so much trouble getting a good fit. Before these pants I was just wearing men's pants with suspenders to get the length but nothing ever fit my waist and hips correctly. These fit perfectly and I don't need a belt or suspenders. I've bought like 30 pairs of pants from American tall and I've only had 3 pairs that I didn't absolutely love.”
“Second time's the charm! I have more of an hourglass figure and love the fit with the right waist and more room for the hips. I took my measurements and got a size 14, which was way too big. I exchanged for a ten (my typical size) and it's perfect. I'm 6" and the tall is the perfect length.”
“Despite using the sizing chart the waist on these was too snug. Also, I'd call these ULTRA high waisted. I'm not short in the rise, nor particularly tall in the rise, but these came above my waist and into my rib cage - painfully so when I sat down. Additionally, the back pockets were not sewn on the seat symmetrically, which was VERY noticeable. One back pocket was closer to the center vertical seat seam than the other one. Additionally the back pockets weren't level w/one another. I.e. one back pocket was caty wompus so to speak. I took photos before packaging them up to return, but unfortunately there is no way to upload the photos to this review. All of this created a very strange look that I wouldn't feel confident wearing. I will say, I loved the idea of these pants, the fabric, the nutshell color and the length. The fabric is substantial and soft - soft almost like moleskin. I must have gotten an off pair w/this back pocket situation. Needless to say, these went back. :(”
