“I am so disappointed in these pants, and the reason goes right to the heart of a problem with this company: unreliable sizing. Let me be clear: the pants are fine; they just aren't sized correctly. I have ordered five pairs of these pants in a 4T. That's my size. It corresponds to AT's sizing chart. Three pair fit great. They are a mainstay in my wadrobe. I love them. The fourth, although labed at 4T, is a 6. Way too baggy for me. I wore them a couple of times before I figured it out and so don't feel right about returning them. But I can't use them for anything but working in the yard and will probably give them to Goodwill. The pair I just received is too small - probably a mislabeled 2 - too tight in the waist and butt. I love these chinos when they are correctly sized, but my success rate with getting pants in this style that fit the way an AT 4 should fit is 60%. Not good enough, American Tall. I am going to have to look elsewhere for pants that are reliably sized. Your sloppy quality control is not acceptable!
One more thing. The only answer to the query about how the pants fit that I was allowed to select was PERFECT. I hope the above makes clear that the fit was far from perfect and not as represented.”
