“These pants completely lose their shape by the end of the day. I originally ordered an 8 but they were so tight across my butt that I decided to return and size up to a 10. The 10s were great when I first tried them on but now they’re completely loose. I recommend sizing down if you’re at all in between. If I could exchange for an 8 I would but I’ve worn them already.”

“These fit amazingly (10T, I’m 6’ and 165lbs) but the second I put these pants in the washer, they fell apart. I washed according to the laundering instructions: cold water, flipped inside out, like colors, etc. but when I went to hang them to dry, I saw the seams along the waist were shredded, the fabric was pilling all over, and the color on the pocket seams was way lighter and there were patches of a dark blue/black all up and down the pants. The discoloration is the worst part, because I can’t wear these anymore. The American Tall quality is SO hit or miss.”

“The color was (fawn) was beautiful, and the fit at the waist was perfect, but the length was much too long (crazy, I know). I have a 35.5 inch inseam, so the 35-inch inseam of the "tall" length should have fit. I lifted my heels and determined about a 2-inch would keep them from bunching on the top of my foot, but I don't wear that tall of heels. Honestly, I think the pants I received may have been mislabeled "tall" when they were the "extra tall" length, but it seems that many others had the same problem (check the other 3-star reviews).”

“I originally ordered a 12 Extra Tall based off my last denim purchase. Wrong choice. I have NEVER put on a pair pants that are too long. And by too long, I mean the leg opening didn't come near my toes. I had flippers because of the pants. The inseam on these were NOT 37 inches. I could have had 8 inch stripper heels on and still the pants would not touch the floor. I had to wait a month for the 12 Tall to come back in stock. Once again the pants were too long. Not 35 inch inseam as stated. These pants covered half of my size 13 feet. I ultimately decided to keep them and hem them to a true 37 inch inseam with an invisible stitch. They fit nicely other than the length.”

“Great quality and love how the top fits - wish they would have that in closure for other chino pants. I'm 5'10.5" and the Talls were too long for me unless wearing a couple inch heel. Based on their size measurements I should be a smaller size, but a size 8 fits perfect in the waist at about 165 pounds, legs are baggier then I'm used to.”
“I wanted to love these pants so much. I love the fabric - it's super soft. I love the fit - the booty looks great. I love the length. They fit true to size. I have a curvy booty and some deliciously thick thighs though, and that means the slash pockets don't lay flat. At all. They poke out the front/sides like Madonna's famous bra. Would absolutely keep these if the pockets were angled more so they would lay flat, but alas, they must be returned.”
