“I wear a size 2 typically and so ordered a size 26. Fit well around the waist but the 35 inch inseam is inaccurate. I’m 5’10.5 and the 35” version was far too short. So i measured the inseam and they are a 32” inseam. Retuning the pants requires a $9 stocking fee despite the error being on the seller’s part for falsely misstating the inseam size. I reached out to them about this and they never responded.”

“Okay so I got these as a gift and as a HUGE lover of American Tall (I'm talking, I'm combing the site every few days to see if there are new releases cause the quality is unmatched), I wanted so badly to love these pants. The fabric is excellent, the colour is literally *perfect*, the length is superior as always; but the fit of them are weird. I saw that people recommended to size up, so I sized up one waist size; but even so, the top of the pants (as in the top seam) cuts into your body where the rest of the pants are too loose. I understand why people said to size up because otherwise the top of the pants wouldn't fit me, but as a result, the rest of the pants are unflattering. For reference I'm just under six feet with a relatively fit build. I'm going to keep them as they were a gift and I want to believe I can make them work, but I would really appreciate the design team taking this into consideration.”
We're sorry that you aren't completely happy with the fit. Thank you for your feedback, we'll pass it along to our design team. Feel free to contact our customer experience team if you have any questions!
“I was very excited to find this website! I'm 5'11" female but slim, and have been having a hard time finding stylish, well-made clothes at the right lengths, particularly jeans and slacks so I purchased a pair of these corduroys, 2 pairs of jeans, and a body suit right away! I must say I am VERY pleased with EVERYTHING -the quality and fit are great, and I will be making more purchases soon!!!”
“These run really small. I love these pants but, I ordered a 25 (the same size I have gotten for jeans that fit perfectly) and they were too small. I exchanged for a size 26 and they are still smaller than other size 25 jeans. Now I'm stuck with pants that are too small and no fix. I guess I should have returned for store credit because they only allow one exchange.”
We're sorry that the Corduroy Pants were too small. You can return the exchange size for either store credit or refund through our return portal. Please feel free to contact our customer experience team if you have any questions.
“I am so disappointed. Originally ordered size 29 and exchanged for 28. They arrived today and are at least 2-3 sizes smaller (the first pair I could grab handful of material around my waist and now I can't do them up!). I would suggest that they have been mislabeled and if I could talk to an actual customer service person (not chat bot) I would consider persisting for yet another try. But as others have noted, the impersonalized shopping experience provided by American Tall is woeful for the customer. I will not be shopping on the site again.”

“These cords fit like a glove and the cut is very flattering. They were quite tight at first but stretched out slightly after a few hours of wear and they're so comfortable. The waist is definitely mid-rise and works for taller body proportions. 25" waist works beautifully (I wear XS in some AT pants but sometimes XS is too big, so it's great that 25" exists). 35" inseam is good before washing but I definitely won't put these in the tumble-drier (as if ...). The espresso colour is dark and rich, really nice for fall/winter! My only suggestion is to offer the 37" inseam in 25" waist, in case of shrinkage. Otherwise, these are really fabulous. My teenager even said she wants a pair: that's a first. (She's too short to wear mine: ha!)”
