“Ok, I read EVERY single review before buying these. I actually had them in my cart 2x and didn't buy them BECAUSE of the reviews. I'm so glad I finally just bought them during the BF sale! I bought black and green, but will definitely buy both of the blues asap!
So first of all, I am 34 y/o and bought them to wear with runners and a crop T or a cropped hoodie or with a blazer and kitten heels etc... I'm not a frumpy person who lacks style or doesn't understand how things should (or shouldn't) fit.
The reviews ARE correct in saying size up. I am a size 12 (~188lbs). Sometimes I can lean towards 10, but a pretty solid size 12. I usually buy XT length in other brands. I have a 36-37" ish inseam.
I bought a 14 Tall in these because people said they were plenty long, but a lot snug.
They fit EXACTLY like in the picture of the girl in the dark green ones here on the website. I mean, *exactly*.
The title of these says "wide leg", I'm not sure if people are expecting them to fit like skinny jeans when they are complaining they're too loose on the leg or what? I have zero booty or thighs. Like, my butt is pretty much a pancake. I don't have upper thighs that stick out to the sides either. And these pants do not swallow me or or balloon. They fit SUPER well. Idk if my proportions just work with the proportion of the pants but I wouldn't change a single thing about them. They are perfect in every way. The pleats lay well. The waist lays well. The backside is just right. Not too tight or too loose. The length is great. Perfect for wearing with tennies or with a small heel. If I had planned on actually wearing with a legit heel, I'd get XT. If I had a nice juicy booty and thighs, I think I would maybe size up 2 sizes. I saw in the reviews, some did that and it worked well. I almost went up 2 sizes from people complaining the waist was thattt small, but I'm glad I didn't.
TLDR-
I think if you do your research and read the reviews, you won't regret this purchase. I reallllly like them and am so excited to wear them!
