“I love the length and style of these pants, but the more I wear them the more frustrated I get with the craftmanship of the pant. They do fit a bit small, so I had to return and size up, but they still have a few flaws. The waist fits perfectly, but the one pocket juts out and isn't sewn inside properly and the front zipper sits a little crooked. Very frustrating considering the price I paid.”

For reference, I am 6 feet tall and 135 pounds and fit a size 6, tall. The fit is good and flattering. I maybe could use another inch of length, depending on the shoes I am wearing. But I got the shorter of the two options and they can be taken down if necessary so not taking away points for that.
The fabric doesn't feel super cheap like something from ASOS or H & M, but doesn't feel super luxurious either. Seems about right for the price.”
“I got these for Christmas, in a size 8, and they were wayyy too small. I am an 8 tall in every pair of pants I wear. I reordered a size 10, and while they buttoned this time, they were still insanely small. I’m disappointed because I love every other pair I’ve gotten from American Tall! I’m usually a Large Tall, so maybe I need to size up one more. The quality of the fabric was great though. Maybe just double and triple check your sizing!”

I LOVE these pants so far
CHECK THE SIZE CHART. Do NOT just order your usual pants size. I ordered a size 18 based on the size chart despite usually being a 14ish (sometimes I size up to a 16 and wear with a belt depending on the brand to be on the safe side particularly because I do have pretty wide hips) and I’m SO glad I did because the 18s fit PERFECTLY () but a 14/16 would have DEFINITELY been WAY too small. Super pleased the size chart is accurate but that was a little confusing and also a little disappointing as far as size inclusivity as I would say if you’re above a size 16, even the largest size(20) would probably be too small.
However, having ordered the correct size due to the size chart, can I just say what a novelty it is for me to have pants that fit my waist(36-37in), hips(45-46in) AND are LONG enough?! I’m 5’11” (ordered the Tall) and these pants were nearly to the floor even in heels. I probably would have to hem them just a tad to wear with flats (would be interesting if maybe in future they could have a 33/34 inch inseam option maybe? Most other brands stop at 31 even for “tall” sizing so there is a bit of a gap there) but honestly that’s so fixable compared to too short.
My only other “complaint” if you could call it that is just that I wish the trousers and blazers came in the same green. I would love to wear these as a matching suit with my green American Tall blazer but the blazer comes in “smoky pine” vs the trousers in “midnight green”(a little darker than it looks on the screen. Closer to black tbh) which is like, almost the same color, but just noticeably different enough that they don’t go together which is irritating.
Overall though the color is beautiful, they fit Perfectly, and I think they look really nice on me. They make me feel Expensive #girlboss”

“A rare miss, first pants I’ve had to return. These pants are so odd fitting, it’s like they aren’t made with tall proportions in mind. I always order a size up from my regular size and end up having them taken in at the waist, because I’m a little between sizes. However these pants, in a size larger than my regular size, are at least two sizes too small. The entire pelvic area of the pants seem to not be made with tall proportions in mind either. Even the length is barely long enough and I’m only 5”11. I’m not really sure what happened with these pants, maybe it’s just my particular proportions since they seem to have such good reviews.”
