“I absolutely love American tall, despite the prices I have to pay that average sized people dont for pants.
~ Im 6’0 I got them in extra tall and the length of these pants is astounding! I never imagined to be wearing something this long. It literally touches the ground covering my feet exactly how I wanted them to be, so I can wear a small heel for an elevated look.

However I do have a small issue, the reason I put 3 stars. I always get my pants in size 8 and they fit perfectly. When I got tried them on, it went super high waisted. Now I am naturally a high waisted build, but the rise of these pants was too high and Im pretty skinny and had trouble zipping, was too tight on my hips because of the rise being too high.
Im not sure if by extra tall, the company not only makes the length longer but the high waist also longer for ladies taller then me (6’0) that possibly have a much higher waist than I.
To summarize, the length was perfection! However I guess I can’t have the length without the waist area being too high rise. I hope my review helps someone to have a better picture of what they’re buying.”

“These are my favorite pants for work, and are super flattering, but unfortunately they are not good quality. The stitching falls apart quickly & gets strings on the fabric. It’s not what you would expect for the price point. They also fit loose, so don’t size up.”

“These fit soooooo small around the waist! I bought my regular size and I can't even do them up. So sad because I was so excited for these. Size up at least one size if not two!”
“These pants are really bad quality. The fabric is cheap and see-through. The light material is great for a beach day but isn't what I expected for a professional pair of slacks. They are definitely not worth the price they are being sold for.”

“These pants are amazing - I am so happy to finally find pants that cover my ankles.
A couple warnings:
I got a pair of these pants in each color, and they do not fit the same. I am a 12 in the Green and a 14 in the navy and black which was surprising and caused me to have to do a return. However, one you find your size they fit well.
On the third wear of my black pants, the hem of one of the legs completely came out causing me to have to use safety pins before a meeting. Not the end of the world, but definitely not ideal given the price tag.
All in all, great pants if you are tall.”
“Just wanted to leave some comments regarding the sizes of your pants. The lengths are great; but what I have a huge problem with is the fact that just like every other clothing store your sizes are based on height. I am a very slim tall person. 5'10" and weigh 125 lbs. Waist 26.5"; Hips 34". There I am not big! Please get off this mindset and consider us women. Very disappointed! I had to return all of the pants. Now I am stuck with shipping cost for basically nothing. Please consider providing first time buyers with free shipping for all returns.

“Loved the colour and length of these pants but they were wayyyy too small. I exchanged for the next size up and they were still too tight. I’m an 8 in everything else at American tall but for these I would have needed a 12. Disappointed because it’s so hard to find pants like these that are long enough!”

“I ordered two pairs of these pants way in advance for work before starting a brand new job as these are really the only ones I could find in this style that would be long enough for my 33-inch inseam. I tried them on as soon as I got them and I loved the fit, pleating, and length! Fast forward to my first day of work wearing them and working with patients and the material started pulling and separating from the seams! I know the material is not the stretchiest but for a pair of pants at this price, I would hope that the seams would last more than a full day of sitting, walking, and bending. If sitting at work was all I did maybe they would have held up better or maybe I got a defective pair. Super disappointed as I wanted to love this company and its products so much but now I am skeptical.”
