“I bought the Smoky Pine in 6 Extra Tall. When they arrived the inseam was only 33", compared to the sizing chart that says XT is 37" and for up to 6'6". I did an exchange hoping it was just a mistake with that item, but the new pair were just as short. I'm 6'2" and these don't reach the top of the back of my shoes. Super bummed!”
“First time ordering from the website and I was so happy I found it, but after receiving my order and trying these pants, I was very disappointed, not in length tho but in size! I'm 6.2 and I wear 12 US, these ones didn't even close! I will have to return them! Giving two stars because they look exactly like the picture and the length is there.”

“This was my first experience buying anything from AmericanTall.com, and I was really excited about the prospect of finally having some well-fitting clothing for work. I was a little nervous because I'd read so many reviews on the site that mentioned quality control issues, but I figured maybe people were just disappointed in the sizing being a little off, so I took a chance. I ordered these trousers in the smoky pine color, and when I opened the package I immediately saw that there were large rust-colored brown stains on the pants. They came right out of the bag already ruined. So now I just have the chore of going through making the return, and returns aren't free like with most retailers, which feels like adding insult to injury. I effectively paid $10 to get bummed out and give myself another task to do.
It's such a shame - there just aren't quality retailers out there making clothing for taller women.”

“I have been on the search for the perfect trouser for my curvy/straight 5’10” frame. I’m thrilled to say that ai have found them. My job though professional requires a lot of moving, bending, crouching, kneeling, etc. These pants allow me to do just about anything and continue looking polished and professional to say I am in love and will be ordering every color is to say the least. I have a shorter torso and this waist hits perfectly, low enough it gives me a little definition, but high enough to camouflage the belly. Seriously can’t rave enough. I’ve worn them about 6 times and they show no signs of wear yet.”
“I feel that AT missed the mark with these. I am an 8T and I had to size up to a 10T and truthfully I didn't notice a substantial change in how the waist was built. Going to keep the 10T but I would advise you to size up! I am 5'11" and probably should have ordered the XT the hem is right there where I want it to be and I hope there will be no shrinkage with washing.”
