“I needed some dressy yet functional pants to shoot a wedding in, and these mostly did the job.
Pros:
Super comfortable! I wore them in late June heat in Louisiana, and they were surprisingly breathable. The style strikes a great balance between professional and practical. I also made good use of the cargo pockets; they came in handy for holding small pieces of gear throughout the day.
I absolutely loved that these were high-waisted and did not gap at the back of the waist. I usually struggle to find pants that fit my body type because I have a smaller waist and larger hips and thighs, but these were a perfect fit. (Size 16 for reference.)
Cons:
Unfortunately, they started pilling on the very first day, which was disappointing, especially at this price point. I’ll double-check the materials, but regardless, the fabric feels a bit cheap. I’m not sure how many wears I’ll get out of them if they wear down that quickly.
Also, for fit reference: I’m 5’10”, so on the shorter side of “tall,” and these were just a smidge too long. I wore them with 2-inch platform sneakers, and they still covered my ankles and extended past the back of my shoes. I didn’t trip or anything, but it’s something to note if you’re around my height.
Overall:
I love the style and comfort. They definitely served their purpose for the day, but I’m not sold on the quality. I like to buy pieces that will last, and I’m not sure these will.”
