I absolutely loved the length; great stretchy material. Definitely wash black separately first, because it tends to bleed a lot for the first couple washes.
Unfortunately for me, these jeans, along with a lot of the American Tall products, tend to be a tight fit around my thighs; these were almost like skinny jeans rather than straight. If you're athletic-built with larger quads/glutes, definitely something to take into consideration.”
“I was very impressed by the length! The AI sizing tool was fairly accurate for me as well. I will say these are slightly more flared than straight. I also was surprised by the material and was expecting more of a jean rather than a stretchy type, as I'm not a fan of the texture inside the pant after a few washed.”
“I was looking forward to finally have jeans that fit my height but they weren't what I'd expect exactly. They are more stretchy than I expected - the first 2 wears were good but then they are feeling loose around my waist, like they already stretched out (personally I don't like that feeling). I also wish that the length inseam had more options than just 35 or 37. I got the 35 inseam (ref: I'm 178cm tall), and it was dragging on the ground. For the straight fit, I don't like that, so I wish that a 34 inch was offered as well.
One personal preference piece that I don't fully get is why are the belt loops huge? I find that when I sit the top kind of folds over a bit.”

“Love love love these jeans! They’re flattering and comfortable and the first pair of jeans I’ve bought that make me feel good! I am craving some more shade options. There’s so many dark colors; please bring in more lighter shades! The blue shades are just…too blue? Can’t wait for more Jean cuts/styles. It’s so hard to find jeans for tall women!”
“The inseam is a great length, material is thick and stretchy without losing it's shape. But for a high-rise, it's quite low in the back and there's also a gap at the waist and are too tight in the butt, I feel like I constantly have a wedgie when I'm wearing them. Sizing up would not fix the issue, this is a design point. If you're going to provide mid-size (ie waist 32/10+) then you have to accommodate for hips and ass.”

“So perfect for me in every way!!! Great length long enough but I'm not stepping on them. Nice through the legs, tight enough to show my shape but not too tight they are restricting. Love the rise too. The kind of jeans I hoped for when skinny jeans were all the rage.”
“Have bought several pairs of jeans from American tall they run either super small or super large. There doesn’t seem to be a happy medium. Make sure to read the reviews to see if they’re either run large or small because they are not consistent.”
