“The fit is great and really that’s why we’re here. They are soft-ish not hard and inflexible. I wore them with a sweat shirt and have paired it with a short blazer and both look great. I got the darker so I could wear it for casual work things.
When I opened the package I thought wow these are huge but it is because they are so high waisted and yes wide. I’m used to more form fitting.
The waist: Ive never liked high rise jeans so that will take getting used to but that is what they advertised so I can’t fault them. I do find then a bit too high. I will always wear a short over the top. I wish there was a store near so I could try a lower size. I might be able to go down a size in these as they are loose but to return these get another without knowing is too much.
Length: i usually go for 35 for pants with flats and 37 with heels. I got the 35 and they are all the way to the ground with flats. I can wear these with both heels and flats. I just bought some flare jeans. These wide leg are wider than the flare at the ankle. I would not have thought I would like them this wide but honestly they are very comfortable. I woukd say they are a tiny bit large but they are as advertised and I can’t compare to the size down.
I wore them on a long road trip and when I got home started to go upstairs to change to my comfy sweats but I realized I was already comfortable- that’s the test for me.”
