“Washed and dried as per instructions but as soon as I put it on, my eyes started to itch and tear up. Not sure if the sweater was causing this I took it off and put it away. Today I decided to try again. Same allergic reaction as before but this time I noticed in and around my bathroom sink, tiny black hairs. I don't have any pets and my hair is white. On closer inspection I was able to remove more and more hairs. I used to be a cat owner and recognize animal fur when I see it. It seems this sweater was used in a pet's bed at one time. Ironically all the hair/fur was on the outer side of the sweater and none on the inside. Will not even attempt another washing since I cannot throw this out soon enough.”
