These qualifications made it perfect for that mission. This came today. The fit was perfect, the sleeves came to my wrists, the hood is big but that is good as it will be warm, the body is shorter, yet that is perfect also
as the sweatshirt will not hang out of the bottom of my jean jacket and look sloppy. I am 5 feet 9 inches tall. I ordered the extra tall/ extra large. I think if I had ordered the regular tall it might have been too short.in the
sleeves and body. I am happy. Thank you for the excellent reviews. It helped me make the right decision.”
“I bought the gray (M, Tall) back in November of last year. I initially loved it so much that I ordered a 2nd in yellow soon after. The yellow is a size M XTall and the sleeves are MUCH better - longer and still down to my knuckles after the initial wash. The M Tall fit perfectly through the body, but the sleeves were barely at my wrists.
UPDATE: 5 months after purchase the gray sweatshirt is showing significant signs of wear, even though it's not an everyday wear. Holes have developed at the cuff seams and at both side pockets where the lower pocket corner meets the body fabric, and the fleece is showing considerable pilling. I'm disappointed, as these are otherwise the closest to the 'perfect' zip up sweatshirt I've found to date. I love every other purchase from American Tall, so I'll keep an eye out for an upgraded generation of zip-up sweatshirts in the future.”
