“I'm 6'2" / 178 lbs. with arms and legs that go on forever, so I ordered this jacket in 16 Extra Tall because I can't stand too-short sleeves. The sleeves of the Extra Tall jacket literally went down to my fingers. I have to say- it was actually a pleasure to have to return something for being too long. A first for me, I think. :) I exchanged it for a 16 Tall, and it works better. In a perfect world I think a 16 'Tall and a Half' would be just right for me. lol
So, now for 'cons': The fabric. I keep hoping AT will get a little more adventurous and fashionable and create some blazers (and other garments) with more interesting, less, generic, less office-only fabrics. Not the little cropped things they do, but nice, long, blazers in fabrics like tweeds, houndstooth, linen, velvet, etc. Almost any outfit looks better with a great blazer to go with it.
The other 'cons' are that there's no hidden pocket inside and no vent (spi)t in the back. Why would a lined, tailored, office-wear jacket not be designed with the almost-mandatory vent?
Even with these 'cons' though, this is still a four-star garment because it's long enough and nice enough to make me look and feel good in it.”
