“I am 5’11” / 150 lbs, and I ordered the M extra tall, after reading some reviews that said sleeve length was still a problem with the regular tall. I do have especially long arms. This size fits me perfectly in the shoulders and torso, but tight around the hips if I try to button it. Leaving it open is how I will wear it mostly anyway. The best part is the sleeves are actually long enough and cover my hands a little when my arms are by my side. I am glad I got the extra tall but honestly I think the regular tall would have been fine for me too. The jacket’s overall look, feel, and quality are all great too. This is the first jean jacket I have ever owned due to my tall long skinny proportions never fitting right in others, and I am so happy with it!”
“I haven't found a women's denim jacket that fit like anything other than Bolero-style since I was in third grade. THANK YOU, AMERICAN TALL!!! This jacket is proper denim weight, not that flimsy, stretchy stuff. Classic styling, everything is just exactly what I wanted.
For the record, I am 5' 10" and ~155 lbs, and "over 50", which changes one's waist and thighs a bit (whether you like it or not).
I am more leggy than lanky (on top), but I find the M Tall in the American Tall bottoms I have purchased thus far to be just barely long enough for me. So I ordered MedTall (this is my first top piece purchase) and this is perfect for me. Sleeves and body are plenty long enough, even if I roll up the cuffs. So so so so happy!”
“Read the reviews, purchased Med XT, mostly because I have long arms (5'11" 150 lb). The sleeves are long enough, reaching past my wrists! The sleeves are a bit wider than I actually need, and the body is a fairly close fit, which I was expecting based on measurements, but it fits me better than any other jean jacket off the rack, and I am happy to have this addition to my wardrobe.”
“The length in the jacket and sleeves is perfect. I originally ordered a M Tall but exchanged it for a L Tall cause I couldn't button the bottom-most button comfortably around my hips (42"/43"). The L Tall is still a bit tight in the hips but better than the M Tall.
I'm taking away 1 star because for some reason I always find sand in the pockets of my American Tall jeans AND this jacket. Pockets on jeans are easy to turn out but the pockets on this jean jacket have a small crevice that makes it hard to completely turn out and get all the sand out.”

The jacket is stylish (style is hard to come by for a tall woman or man), the sleeves are a good length although it would be nice if the sleeves were a tad longer and the fit is fantastic. I can layer or wear it on its own.
