“I like that this is lightweight and packable, yet still warm. But the quality/workmanship feels and looks shoddy (loose threads, thin fabric). After only a month of use, the zipper failed and I need to take it in for fixing.”

“Website should be called American BIG and Tall. I ordered a size XS and the sleeves were big(WIDE). It looked as if extra large sleeves were sewn onto a size medium coat. Everything looks very out of proportion. Overall the jacket was not true to size and very large compared to a normal size extra small, except for in the bust. Somehow it was too big and boxy and puffed out in the back yet too small in the bust. It was a very odd cut. I'm a DD cup. Based on how large the extra small is even if I were to size down to a XXS it would still be too big except in the bust where it would be even smaller. It would probably fit great though if you were a body builder. Not for the skinny, busty girls tho. Based on the oddity of this jacket sizing, I am not going to exchange it for anything else, so now I am stuck having to pay for a return. :(”

“Loved the color. I tried three times- small tall, small extra tall, medium tall. There appears to be a repeated issue with sizing, narrow in the shoulders and wide in tge middle and waist area. The proportions are always off. I see this in multiple reviews. I don't know what models are being used, but they are not working. I understand that an allowance needs to be made for sitting, but the way the jackets are made don't work. I have puffer jackets from other brands that don't have this issue. They are also too tight in tge bust area. To get the proper fit and sizing up results in a huge oversize in tge waist. Hopefully they will get a hint from m all the returns and course correct. Multiple reviews with the same complaint. I'm not sure how to rate this. I like the quality of material, the style, the fact it's compact and foldable- none of this matters if tge fit is a "miss."”

“I am 5'11", 27" waist, 32C. I got a small extra tall and I LOVE IT! the sleeves cover my hands when my arms are straight down but the wrists are tight enough to keep my hands uncovered if I wanted to (but I love having my hands covered by my sleeves for once!). It is fitted without being too tight. It is easy to wear over sweaters and still looks flattering. It is very lightweight but very warm! though I would love to buy a heavyweight puffer as well ;)”
“Fit is fantastic and I would describe as true to size. I am a concerned about how the fabric will hold up. The zipper pull string was in tatters in less than a month and the exterior fabric feels thin. Time will tell.”
