“This is the first pair of jeans I have ordered from American Tall for myself as I had only done so before for my brother in 36Wx34L and he loved those. So with that in mind and having ordered some other Long John & Son's shirts and coats, I wondered if their fitting slightly bigger but still leanly, would be the case with the jeans. To my surprise, they are actually smaller in the waist than expected. Based on the other American Tall bottoms I have bought for myself and/or my brother, a 34W or 36W still matched traditional waist sizing as the inside waist measurement would be 1.5" bigger than the waist size, so 34W=35.5" and 36W=37.5", but these LJ&S 34W=34.5", so they were a full inch smaller than expected. Luckily they still fit me just fine anyway, but it was a bit of a surprise. They also have stretch too so if I have a food baby after a holiday meal or just some good old fashioned overeating, they should still be good to go. So yay. Then when it came to length, I'm usually a 34Wx38L but that wasn't available when I went to buy them, so I snagged the 34Wx40L, and they are only about an inch long, and that might change after going through the wash, but if not, it's still okay they don't drag, and I'm not stepping on them, or anything like that so, it's all good . Also, the colour of blue looks quite nice and I like that they are not all faded or full of whiskering or holes. Lastly, I wore them recently while going for a walk, and they feel soft, sturdy, and stretchy at the same time but all in a good way such that they naturally move with you, and just feel good to be in.
