“I've been ordering these jeans for several years now as they are my primary jeans for work. Unfortunately, the quality control or design has changed over the years. In my latest order, the jeans only have one belt loop in the rear center. The order before that, one pair had two loops (as pictured) and the other only had one. I like having the two loops for how it supports your belt, and it's part of the reason I buy from AT. Unfortunately, if you contact customer support, they don't have any thoughts on the matter (no reason why the variance, and no assurance which version you'll get). Now, they were nice enough to send a replacement, but alas, the replacement also had one belt loop. I'm leaving a review to hopefully bring some visibility to this, or at least to help others in the same boat.
All that said, I appreciate the heavyweight, durable denim. These definitely last longer than the AT branded jeans and look great. I would like to keep buying them if I could be assured the belt loops would be as pictured. They're worth the price, to be sure. For sizing reference, I wear a 38 waist, tapered leg in Long John and Sons, and 36 waist, straight leg in American Tall. Just in case anyone is buying the LJS ones for the first time, you might find this conversion helpful. I found the straight leg LJS to be too baggy.”

“These used to be my favorite jeans. Used to be. Then the cut and fabric composition was altered. I bought a pair last year 34/36, they fit like a dream, and I ordered a pair of the same style in a different color recently. They don't even come close to fitting even though they are also 34/36. I laid the new ones on top of the old ones, and the new ones are not only narrower but they also don't have any stretch. And that's when I noticed the old ones were labeled as 98% polyester and 2% spandex, while the new ones are labeled as 98.5% cotton and 1.5% spandex. That explains why there's no give, apparently. So I exchanged them for 36/36 and now they're just meh. They're too loose in the rear but also too baggy on the legs, they don't feel like a tapered cut at all, just to have a waistband that can fit. And there's no give. The pair of these I got last year I would have rated 5/5, far superior to this year's model. My search for jeans that fit starts anew.”
