It has a nice & sturdy but not too heavy weight to it, along with a pretty dang comfortable fit
I purchased this 8 months ago and it's held up beautifully. The only minor "damages" and I say that very lightly would be a sharp edge on one of the seams for a button hole at the front and some wear and tear in the interior waist pockets.
