“CQG software is good it’s no Sierra Charts but it will get you by if you only need the basics in your futures trading or as a good order entry companion software if you are using something else for advanced charting.”
“There customer support is embarrassing and I still to this day can’t find a feature that will move my stops to break-even. Every other platform I’ve ever used have a one click button that instantly moves my stops to breakeven.?!?”
“There are many tools that are lacking when compared to many other proprietary trading software. Unfortunately I know some former employees of CQG that could not get changes approved.
CQG needs to bring back the chart trading where a user can slide the open orders up and down the chart without having to use the DOM.
Volume price profile should be overlayed on the chart not just with a volume histogram on the chart.
Also need performance tracking for trades to include expectancy.”
