My name is Armando and I have been a MotiveWave user for about 4 years or more.
When I did the research for the platform I would use, I found several, among them MW. When I made the analysis, from the operational point of view, price, compatibility with different OS's, the possibility of volume tools (I operate with order flow version). I made the decision to use it.
At first I found it a bit difficult to set up, as there is little information on social media, especially on MV's YouTube channel. However, after hours of screen time and understanding all the settings of the powerful tools it has, I consider myself one of the traders who knows best how to configure this platform. Said by other tarders who see my analysis and charts.
I have been sharing my charts on “X” for years (@Armando_AML) and have formed groups where I have helped other traders to configure and optimize the platform to suit their trading methodology. Currently, I am making short videos to help a large community to optimize the setup of the platform.
The not so good thing; the technical support. I think that MV has few staff to clarify and solve the problems that we have, the response times are a bit long. It would be ideal if they could implement a ticket system to track the incidents reported.
I think it is a fairly mature platform, it needs to implement some improvements such as the visualization of orders / trades in the charts, it is very basic and almost not appreciated when working in high resolutions. As well as other indicators, it should allow to change the configuration of this information, font size, color, type of information to show, etc.
Sorry for the length of my review, but in summary, it is a platform that I would never change, I have tried others in my life as a trader and definitely, MotiveWave from my point of view is the best that adapts to the operation of a large number of trades.
