“TV works well for me. Its more modern than many inherent platforms with their code, allowing for more intuitive operations of your mouse and scrolling.
Its free while many other chart software is clunky and cumbersome.
There are a lot of indicators available for free and the ability to create your own using pine script is incredible. Ive made numerous of my own to flash guy signals on the charts for my edges. Thats a huge advantage over other platforms.
The drawing tools are easy, fast and clean with no weird key plus mouse combo needed to use. They make sense.
The alerts are awesome.
The integration with multiple brokers is nice.
The app is also really solid.
My only gripes are
1. With AMP the commissions aren't included in your account PL so you have to keep a tally of those separately to know where you're at on the day. That's brutal and needs to be fixed.
2. The Daoam and order entry aren't great if you need to use both of them. The order entry itself is great, easy bracket orders, visual trading etc BUT you can't seem to use both at the same time so thats kind of lame.
3. The amount or computers you can use itnon before it starts asking you to reconnect while disconnecting on another computer. I have multiple computers and im the only one using them but I can't use the desktop app on all of them instead having to resort to one comp with desktop and one with browser. Then I cant have any others going for example in the living room for when im taking a break from the office without having to shut one down or continually reconnect.
4. Chart refresh is not great and I find it tough to consistently load up the same tabs I want after closing it. All the templates revert to something old and u have to change every tab back to how I want it.
5. Execution arrows are all above or below the candle. This makes it hard on review to easily see where each entry was, forcing you to load up the chart and hi we for price. An option for showing a side arrow too would be great.”
