“For me Tradingview is a good tool with most of the tools and indicators that traders need.
I only have a little issue because I work with two brokers and when I restart, it usually messes the snaps that I have openen between brokers and then I have to reconnet them. Just that, but I find it very good.”
“TradingView is good, but for executions with AMP, there should be something better out there. Tradesea or Project X are better platforms and easy to use. However, they all lack the ability to set ‘multiple’ take-profit levels, for example. I don’t think my review will make any difference or even be read, but I’m writing it anyway. Thank you for asking for my feedback. Overall, my experience with AMP has been good, but there is one issue that significantly affects my daily trading workflow: the stability of the TradingView connection.
I trade through **TradingView connected to my AMP account**, and the connection disconnects quite frequently. In practice, I often have to reconnect and log in several times during the same day.
I’m not sure whether the issue is on the AMP, CQG, or TradingView side, but from a trader’s perspective, I would strongly prefer the connection to remain active and stable for a much longer period — ideally, **once connected, it should remain connected for at least a week unless I manually log out or there is a security-related reason to terminate the session**.
The second issue is the login process. Every time the connection is lost, TradingView requires me to manually enter my AMP/CQG login credentials again. This is inconvenient when it happens multiple times per day, and repeatedly typing brokerage credentials also does not feel like the best approach from either a usability or security perspective.
I would strongly recommend working with TradingView to provide a secure way to **remember the authenticated session or securely store the login credentials**, so users can reconnect without manually entering their username and password every time.
For active traders, connection reliability is extremely important. A much more persistent TradingView connection would significantly improve the AMP trading experience.
I hope AMP and TradingView/CQG can investigate this and improve the integration.
