“Trading view experience has not been positive. I'm looking for a connection that works exactly with all the same features that are in paper trading and this connection through AMP does not do that. Some very important functional features are missing.”
“I love tradingview. My only issue is that, not matter what instrument that you're looking at, RTH hours always follows equities from 930 AM to 4 PM. Futures contracts open and close at different times (pit hours). Crude, nat gas, etc open at 9 AM and close at 230 PM. Gold opens at 820 AM, Copper at 810 AM, etc
Of course you can set the chart to ETH to capture these times, but it makes it a little more difficult to see gaps between pit sessions. Many other, far inferior platforms display the future pit hours as RTH.”
“much rather use Tradingview for everything (analysis, research, trade mgmt) love it!
there's been times when Tradingview was hesitant; not instantaneous as usual.
- changing tools would have a lag
- recent market volatility made it next to impossible to make changes in real time
- luckily i was not in a trade at that exact moment but that absolutely would have been detrimental if i was
- no other apps were freezing, just T.V. and my Internet is super fast”
“Trading on TradingView is ok, but really needs to improve the bracket function with a simple choice of adding an automatic stop at a set number of ticks/points. Also, adding a trailing stop option would be terrific. The amount of screen space taken up by the account info below the chart is unnecessary and convoluted. Also, why doesn't the account stay signed in when checked?
The good is fairly clean DOM and I like that it's on the chart immediately with a stop function by dragging the price.”
