“Commissions do not update realntime. Easy to get a nasty surprise next day when the balance is up to date. The balance can be heavily negative if you take a lot of trades. Serious issue for small accounts”
“I have been using tradingview for the most part as my primary trading platform for at least 7 of the last 9 years l have been trading. Specifically, daytrading the futures market with Amp futures I am able to get in and out of trades quick and easy. I can place orders directly on the charts and get consistent and fast fills including bracket orders. I like using tradingview because I don't have to download software to my computer and it is web based. 99% of the time it functions very well. The only downside is the occasional time that there is a glitch with tradingview and/or the internet. However, I have noticed this issue is less frequent than I have experienced in the past with other softwares and other web based platforms. If this issue does occur Amp are great at helping you to troubleshoot the issue quickly and close out your trade, if needed, on the emergency trade desk. I also like the multitude of indicators, and the ability to use the phone app as backup on tradingview.”
“Best damn charting platform on the market. But: 1) slippage remains single biggest issue (i.e. discernible time lag from mouse click to Order execution or trade closing); 2) Recurring IT bugs (i.e. chart loading stoppages) ; 3) Frequent issues with different brokers login; 4) iPhone app difficult to use/manipulate with fingers”
“i like the implementation and the fact that it autogroups brackets and allows you to modify those. It is fast and efficient and I haven't had any issues with this version.”
