“Being able to attach the speaker makes it very convenient and reduces clutter in the cart. Speaker has great sound and is more than loud enough for the course.”
“I really wanted to like this speaker. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed. Bottom line is it is grossly overpriced. If you paid full price for it you got ripped off. I got it for $80 on sale and with a coupon code and still sent it back. I compared it to the $30 no-name speaker Ive been using for golf that I got on amazon, which sounded better. The Ampcaddy is slightly louder, but sounds downright bad. There is absoulutely no low-end, which isn’t terribly surprising for a speaker this size, but since it’s marketed as having terrific sound and bass it’s very misleading. If you want to spend around $100 for a Bluetooth speaker for golf you’re much better off going with any of the offerings from the name brand speaker manufacturers like Bose and JBL, both of which sound 10x better than the ampcaddy. Given the sound and features I feel Ampcaddy is worth $40 tops.”
