“The cabinets are great - now they're assembled, which was no mean feat. You need at least two people to assemble this cabinet.
It's made more difficult than it needs to be as the instructions are not easy to follow with poorly drawn diagrams and written in tiny print.
The main problem is assembling the back, which comprises three parts - two panels and a strip which connects in the centre at the point where the two panels join and is used eventually for supporting the shelves. The strip is incredibly difficult to attach, as the two panels need to be kept together while you slot the strip in. We had to use a flat headed screwdriver to slot it in and had to tape the two panels together as we did so. We then taped the strip on as it kept coming apart again. After the first one, we thought the second one would be easy. Unfortunately not, but at least we knew to tape the parts together while we connected them.
The cabinets are very sturdy and the shelves are good and solid. We have a problem with one of the doors that catches at the top but we're not going to replace it. I don't think we could stand having to assemble another one.”
