“the concept great, but the 1 question has me not purchasing this kit, is where do the roots grow, normal dwc has a resivour for the roots to grow into & or air bubble feeding oxygen to roots. but this kit has no room for roots to thrive in & get oxygen? please if you can explain were roots have space to grow. please explain & i might just grab a kit.”

Hi Steve, The roots grow into the pot and get good aeration from the porous perlite and vermiculite growing media around them. There is a very slow flood and drain cycle which provide nutrients, water and air to the roots. It may not be as fast a method as DWC, however it is much more stable and easier to grow than DWC. It is also more forgiving - you might only need to check the water level once a month in winter, for example, however with DWC you would want to check pH every 2 days at the least.
