Hi, Thank you for your message about the Canna Aqua clay pebbles. The Canna Aqua clay pebbles are the best clay media we have found to avoid floating issues however unfortunately there will always be a small proportion that do float. We have tried to communicate this in our product description where we also mention that many pebbles which initially float will become saturated and sink after some time. Further, maintaining depth a few centimetres higher than the water level will help to keep the bulk of pebbles held down and avoid algae establishment.
