“The impellor was a replacement for an existing impellor which had failed during the warranty period. The new one worked right away as I would expect. I did not claim a replacement under warranty because the dealer from whom I purchased the original unit is no longer in business. I can only hope that the new one lasts longer than the original.”

Hello, Thanks for your review. The Mako's are a good pump, but the impellors are deemed consumable items and wouldn't be covered under warranties with any manufacturer.
