after i built it i hadn't yet put water in so it bubbled and warped in the sun. heaps of left over part from the pump. it is expensive but looks really cool. I Recommend a muilt coloured pond light from bunnings to go inside the water. and large roll of coco coir to cover the wires and air lines plus it feels nice to walk on

Hi Max, thanks for the feedback. The pump comes with alot of fountain attachments, and yes, they are not all required for this kit. I'm sorry to hear about the warping - these are quality Australian made grow beds, so they do stand up well to the elements, but over time and without protection all plastic will succumb to the sun. In the end they should still be fine when you use them for Aquaponics. The coco coir is an interesting idea, thanks for letting us know about that. Happy growing, Chris

Seedlings are slowly getting up after a coldish spell this winter, but we've already taken kale and parsley from the system. The kit was very easy to build, I did it with my keen 3 year old, she was good at rinsing the clay balls and filling up the tank. We have a sunny position so I can't wait for all the produce we'll grow coming into spring.
