It's a fantastic site in a wonderful location with great facilities. The onsite restaurant serves great food and there's lot of entertainment for there kids. They do need to think about there drinks pricing though !

Been quite a few times to hunters quay, first time we have stayed in the lodge & we definitely found it better, more space & privacy, kids loved it, was like a home away from home, we did have to buy plug ins though as had quite a musky smell like wet dog, but aired the lodge & plug ins helped, beds were comfy, Staff helpful & friendly as always, Our only negative we had was that on one of our occasions at the restaurant we waited almost 1 hour the kids where starving & soo restless, we asked about or food 3 times, told would arrive shortly, never did, eventually we got it & looked like they had forgotten about us as both tables around us who had people who had arrived well after us had received their food & where actually finished their food, food was delicious but the wait was awful!! Only other negative was we had been playing machines all week and had accumulated over 3,000 tickets which we ended up counting by hand ourselves when we got home as ticket feeder was broken the whole holiday & the day we were departing was getting fixed but wasn't ready by time we had to leave, so we had 2 disappointed children as no prize for all their tickets as u can imagine they were quite upset, we ended up bringing the bag of tickets home n counting them but not a lot of good to us by then. Pool was clean & well monitored, kids entertainment really gave it their all, must admit hunters quay is definitely one of our favourite caravan parks, first time we had the 2 negatives
