The majority of the holiday was very relaxing and we thoroughly enjoyed it, however, the food served in the restaurant is of poor quality, steaks tasted like old rubber boots and we are yet to receive our sweet order, which we finally gave up on. The gambing machines used to be a highlight and cost mum lots of money to win tokens, now there is very little machines its hardly worth going in. The cost of the rover pass for the weekend on an already expensive weekend is something that should be looked at, it should be included in the holiday and certainly not a money making exercise. We will be back as we enjoy the scenary but we have been going away weekends to alternative locations due to the rising costs and poor quality of food.

We have visited Drimsynie Estate for the past 3 years and really enjoyed it. The views of the loch and hills are stunning. When the tide is out, you can take a lovely walk right over to Lochgoilhead along the beach, where you can find well signposted nature trails. Kids are well catered for, lots of activities on their programme to keep them entertained. The only downside was the mattress in the bed in the lodge we stayed in (Premier Osprey), it was extremely uncomfortable and well overdue to be replaced. We left a night early because of this, which is a shame as we cannot fault anything else about the estate or the lodge (clean, spacious and well equipped).

Overpriced, instructor on holiday mid-season, restaurants not particularly special, but priced like they are. Too many games machines, easy way to get money from adults through children.

My last visit was a bit of a disappointment with scaffolding around the building, a music festival on and few problems with the accommodation but it was all sorted by the complex manager Zac, so we are returning hopefully for a much better stay

We were really disappointed to arrive at a building site. The work obscured the view completely from the hotel. We could have been sat in any function hall during Christmas Dinner. The bicycles for hire were far too expensive. The view out of our lodge was onto an electricity generator and pylon. The shop and launderette was not big enough for the size of the holiday village. There were no walking/maps available on arrival. You were encouraged to stay onsite and not explore which was a shame as it wasn't until our last day we discovered how beautiful the surrounding area of Drimsynie village was - particularly the arboretum and nearby walks. The entertainment in the holiday village was good.
