“I had ordered this chair at the beginning of summer because of it's beautiful design. When it arrived in June and we began the building process, we started to notice that the dowels sent to build the chair with did not fit into the holes. We tried multiple times to follow the very limited directions to put the chairs together with no success, and now we are left with partially built chairs and no way to take it apart and send them back because the dowels that were too big are now stuck in the chairs. When I contacted customer service they did not respond or give me any kind of answer for months to this issue. When I asked for a refund because the chairs could not be built correctly and were not functional with the dowels that had been sent, they denied my request and told me that it was not their issue. With how difficult it even was to get a hold of anyone about this issue for months and then the lack of care or responsibility in making this manufacturing issue right, I would definintely not recommend these chairs or buying anything from this company.”

“I had priced out a similar "Three Birds" chair. While that chair was over $600, the Ash & Ember chair was 1/3 the cost. It comes partially assembled with mediocre instructive diagrams. It took me (pretty handy) about a half hour each to assemble. A very sturdy, solid, stylish and comfortable chair. The follow up customer service has been very responsive to questions.”
