This bench is beautiful, solid, and heavy. Assembly was straight-forward but a bit awkward without a second pair of hands. I recommend having a white-headed (to avoid leaving black marks) rubber mallet available during assembly. Dowels were too large for some holes and I had to saw off a few. Coating the bench with teak oil revealed a rich honey golden color. The contoured seat and back fit the body well and creates a comfortable seat without needing cushions. We'll treasure this bench for many years to come.

The workmanship on the bench was great. The assembly instructions were very meager.

Great bench. Imposible to assemble with wooden peges that don't fit in the holes. Will work without the pegs in after a stuggle. Called for help but no one called back.
