Counterbalance for 1" Square Spit Rod Reviews

Read Ash & Ember Reviews

Enhance the efficiency of your rotisserie spit by adding the Spit Rod Counter Balance. This counterbalance helps achieve a natural balance for your spit rod load, which proves challenging. By doing so, you not only prolong the lifespan of your rotisserie's motor but also reduce stress on the motor's gearbox. Maintaining a balanced spit ensures your meat will cook evenly and taste delicious.
DIRECTIONS: To get started, assess the weight distribution of your spit rod. Position the spit rod inside the roaster, without attaching the motor. Rotate the spit rod half a turn in both directions several times, ensuring that the heavier side ends up at the bottom.
Next, slip the counterbalance sleeve onto the spit and secure the slide rod in the vertical position, which should be opposite to the heavier side of the spit. To achieve a better balance, move the weight along the slide closer to the spit for evenly distributed loads, and farther away for loads that are less uniform.
