Grade A Teak Square Planter Box Medium Reviews

5 Rating 1 Reviews
Read Ash & Ember Reviews

Showcase your favorite outdoor plants in timeless, functional style. This planter is crafted from premium Grade A teak wood, offering a smooth, blemish-free finish and exceptional weather resistance. Ideal for herb gardens, flowers, and small trees, it fits effortlessly on decks, patios, entryways, and in garden spaces.
Built for lasting outdoor performance, the durable teak construction is kiln-dried to resist warping, hand-sanded for a refined finish, and assembled with sturdy wooden dowels. For best results, we recommend using a liner if adding soil directly to the planter. Over time, the natural caramel tone will develop a silver-gray patina if left untreated and can be oiled periodically to maintain its original color.
All Ash & Ember teak garden décor is crafted from legally sourced wood grown on responsibly managed plantations in Indonesia, where trees are farmed as a renewable resource—never from natural forests.
Available in 14-, 48-, and 78-gallon sizes, this planter offers versatile design options to suit your space. The 14-gallon size can also be paired with the Grade A Teak Connecting Bench for seamless outdoor seating. Shop the Grade A Teak Planter Box Bench here.

“These planter boxes are exceptionally well made - from the design (mortise and tenon with dowels) to the quality of wood and finish. It was a bit of work to oil and assemble, but, as you can see, the finished product is awesome! One thing of note is that bottom panel of the box is not solid. (Perhaps the boxes are designed for drop-in containerized plants and to maximize drainage.) Because I planted my blueberry plants directly into the teak wood boxes and didn't want to lose all my potting soil out the bottom, I felt like I needed to put something porous (like mesh or cardboard with slits) into the bottom of the box before filling it with soil and planting. It's worked well. My three planter boxes are incredibly solid, well-draining, and they look heaps better than the cedar boxes that they replaced!”
