“This is my third cordovan wallet from Ashland. I have two Fat Herbies in burgandy, one i converted to be a passport/wallet by cutting out the center seam on one side. I have also bought 2 others as gifts. Overall, I love the Fat Herbie as my general wallet because it is flat. But there have been times, here in Flordia, where my attire doesn't suit a full sized wallet. Hence the Frank. I have used this style of wallet in the past, but never had one as high quality as the Frank. The leather is fantastic. I would have preferred double card holders on both sides but i just put two ID cards in the single slot sided license holder - no problem. One note for anyone buying any of these wallets - do NOT use Saphir renovateur on these wallets. That product has a solvent in it, which is used to pull dye from good areas to redistribute it over scuffed areas while polishing - hence how in renovates worn leather. On my first Fat Herbie the solvent weakened/broke the stitching and i had to have it sent in to be restitich, which Ashland did without question.”
