Summary - Overall - 10 out of 10. A new launch for Ashland and it will be a popular one for us front pocket folks in the UK and everywhere else. Holds loads of notes and cards. An amazing wallet, great design, awesome quality, superb leather and design. Just brilliant.
Another stunning wallet from the folks at Ashland Leather. I’m stoked to have snagged one of these beauties and it’s with me and my growing collection back in the UK. (Rapid DHL delivery too albeit dearer, but worth it for the insurance, etc).
The Western Shell Cordovan looks incredible and feels good too. I’ve always leaned towards the Natural and Whiskey colour shells so this one adds to my collection.
I always front pocket carry so this is perfect. Currently I have 6 cards and 6 UK £5 notes in there. Our new £20 and £10 notes fit fine. You’ll find the new £20 note will sit inside the edges unless they twist a little, whereby the corners may poke out but this is such a minor thing as to be inconsequential really.
Leather - incredible. Shell is just one of those things I cannot resist holding, smelling, staring at.
Quality - impeccable. The team at Ashland will look after you no matter what you buy. Please buy with confidence. They have some of the best customer service you’ll find anywhere. Do not hesitate to contact them.
Design - just perfect. I have always loved a leather money clip wallet and I prefer this design. One card in each outer slot for quick access (remember, leather stretches out so don’t stuff the outer slots), then 2 cards in each inner slot is more than enough for me.
The money clip - I’ve seen this on loads of other wallets so this proves how good these money clips are. Very practical and I have a good way of using this as well. To loads cash in, just fold the notes in half, hold the outer edge and just slot the notes over the clip! So simple but so effective and quick.
To remove notes, just grab a note and pull it out sideways. Don’t mess around opening the money clip. Grab a back note and the others will stay thanks to the awesome clip used.
Price - very fair considering this is Shell Cordovan and they are hand made. No complaints about the price at all.”
